Opt In

There are 15 major components in the SchoolDistrictOnline Opt In feature. Opt In allows open and complete communication between school, teachers and parents, thus creating an entire electronic community. SchoolDistrictOnline makes the difference in student development by simply involving the family for total support. SchoolDistrictOnline Opt In is the home communication solution.

Unlimited school Departments/Villages/Teams/Clubs, each with their own or shared calendars, news, documents, newsletters ... all feeding the Opt In System.

Opt In Accounts are used for three main purposes.  First, to allow the school or the district to send burst messages to everyone in case of emergency or reminders that would effect the whole school. Secondly, the system creates a custom daily email containing information specifically created and based upon the children enrolled. It will gather all assignments, all classroom news and events, and school and department news and events, and place them into a single email that will be easy for the parent to view. And, thirdly, teachers have a built in address book of all the parents email for all their classes and students.

The Opt In will look at all the information entered from all different sources; be it from the different teachers, different parent department administrators, and/or district staff. Not everyone may know what happens in the entire school. However, SchoolDistrictOnline will gather all the information from anyone sharing the system. “
